PREVIEW: Oregon Men’s Basketball Set to Host Tennessee State At Home
By Jonah Bruneau
Eugene, ORE. -- The Ducks have jumped out to a hot start so far in the young season with wins against a Power 5 school Georgia, and an N’Faly Dante-less victory in the home opener against Montana. Coming into this season, Oregon was bound to have a plethora of changes to their starting rotation with the departures of Will Richardson, Rivaldo Soares, and Quincy Guerrier. However in the two games played so far, returning players such as Jermaine Couisnard, Nate Bittle, Keeshawn Barthelemy and N’Faly Dante have proven to be meshing quite well.
Dante, a Senior that has been looked at as a potential NBA talent, had an eye-opening 21 rebound performance against Georgia down in Las Vegas which is the most by an Oregon player in almost 50 years. In the matchup with Montana, Dante was inactive for the night for an undisclosed reason, though it has been known that the six-foot eleven center has battled knee and hamstring injuries…

The Oregon Ducks stay at #6 in the third College Football Playoff rankings for the 2023 season. KWVA continues its weekly series to review the rankings.
The third edition of the College Football Playoff rankings was again defined by a lack of change. Georgia and Ohio State swapped in the top two, but the remainder of the top eight remains the same. The Oregon Ducks stay as the top one-loss team, looking up at the five undefeated programs.
With just two weeks left in the regular season, the pool of potential playoff teams has shrunken again. As we have discussed in prior ranking reviews, we know that no two-loss team will make the playoffs, and every undefeated team will make the playoffs. This late into the season, a team can only move so far up in the rankings – leaving one-loss #24 Tulane on the outside looking in, regardless of what happens.
Given this, only nine teams remain with a chance…

EUGENE, Ore. -- The sixth-ranked Oregon Ducks volleyball team (22-5) will travel this weekend to the Copper State to take on the 18th-ranked Arizona State Sun Devils (24-4) and the Arizona Wildcats (8-9) to keep their momentum as they close out their regular season. Oregon hosted both schools in October, beating the Wildcats 3-0 and losing to the Sun Devils in a 3-0 sweep.
Oregon Ducks
The Ducks have had a great season under Matt Ulmer. They’ve played especially well away, with their record as 10-1 on away games and 6-1 in neutral venues. Their challenge this season has been playing ranked opponents, as four of their five losses have come against teams sharing the table. Seeing as Arizona State has a ranking, we’ll have to see how the Ducks do against them. Oregon’s last two games were another away trip to the Bay Area, with the team falling in five sets to the Stanford Cardinal and then they beat the California Golden…

NBA POWER RANKINGS – November 13th
Written by Tal Cohen, Yaniv Horenstein, and Leo Schulhof
1. Denver Nuggets (8-2, LW: West No. 2)
This should come as no surprise, but the reigning champions sit atop the power rankings heading into Week 3 of the NBA season. Nikola Jokic has been superb in his seven-game stretch, averaging a whopping 29 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists. Jamal Murray is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury until December, and while this is a significant loss for Denver’s offense, his absence has not yet been a deterrent to this basketball club’s ability to run up the numbers in the win-column.
2. Philadelphia 76ers (8-1, LW: East No. 3)
The Sixers have proved themselves as one of the deepest teams in the league, especially following the James Harden Trade. Nick Nurse has done a tremendous job balancing all the players on this loaded squad while making sure they play team basketball. Kelly Oubre has started his…
