VB: #18 Oregon Wins Their Home Opener Versus Portland State in a Sweep
After losing their first two matches of the season to top 3 teams in Texas and Nebraska at the Vert Challenge, the Ducks were able to turn things around and get their first win of the season in their home opener. Thanks in large part to a 5-0 and 6-0 run during the the middle and end parts of set 1, and a huge, 13-0 run in the second set, the Ducks were able to win in comfortable fashion. Oregon finished with a scoreline of 25-15, 25-10, 25-13, and this resulted in two of their players recording double digit kills. Ronika Stone led the match with 15 kills, while Lindsey Vander Weide was right behind her with 11. The Ducks will look to continue to find their groove this weekend, as they host the Oregon Classic. Their first match will be on Friday, August 31st at 1 pm versus Utah Valley.

AUDIO: Oregon Football Looks for Identity on the Ground
With the departure of Oregon and PAC-12 record rusher Royce Freeman to the NFL and the expectation of a physically imposing offensive front, the 2018 running backs' room may have some of the most pressure on them entering week one. A familiar face returns to lead the group in Tony Brooks-James, combined with a new voice Jim Mastro who left the same position as RB coach at Washington State to lead the Ducks this season. In order to cope with the absence of Freeman, Brooks-James personally has added weight while the others behind him have stepped up throughout the fall, listen below to full interviews with the Oregon running back and coach Mastro for an update on their progress so far.

AUDIO: Oregon Football Preps for Scrimmage
Oregon football took to Autzen Stadium on Wednesday afternoon for a game style scrimmage that will heavily impact the team's depth chart for week one. Though fall camp has offered a look at the depth many of the freshman and reserves bring to the Ducks, Wednesday's scrimmage serves as an opportunity to hone in on who the team's regular contributors will be. However, as head coach Mario Cristobal discussed, the NCAA rule that allows freshman to play four games and remaining eligible for a redshirt will keep all the team's youngsters in the mix for playing time throughout the season. Listen below to the full interview with coach Cristobal as he highlights what to watch in the scrimmage and the final week of fall camp.
