OREGON SB PREVIEW: One-off game against Northern Colorado
Written by Ben Schoenfield
The No. 24 Oregon Ducks Softball (26-16, 12-8 Pac-12) has a one-off non-conference game versus the University of Northern Colorado Bears (24-22, 9-5 Big Sky) at Jane Sanders Stadium in Eugene, Ore. at 11:00 a.m. on April 28. Both teams are coming off of a 2-1 series win; the Ducks against Oregon St. and the Bears against Portland St.
Oregon:
The Ducks have one regular season series left after this game, and it is against arguably the best team in the Pac-12, the Stanford Cardinal. Oregon is coming off of a slightly disappointing series against the second-worst team in the Pac-12, Oregon St., being shut out in one game. The Ducks still need to use the motivation and camaraderie of playing for Hanna Delgado to not lose sight of the goal. This game against Northern Colorado could be a trap game if they are only looking ahead.
Oregon's defense has found a little bit of consistency only having one game…

Ducks fans showed out at Autzen Stadium Saturday to watch Oregon Football’s spring game. This was the first opportunity for Oregon fans and the wider public to watch new Ducks transfers Dillon Gabriel, Dante Moore, Evan Williams, and many others.
Despite a lot of the focus being on the new offensive weapons, it was all defense to start. The Dillon Gabriel led Green team started with two straight punts, and Gabriel would finish the first half 6/10, with his longest completion going for 11 yards while being sacked twice. He did have a few bright spots early, including an awareness play to take a deep shot on a free play that drew a pass interference call and gained the Green squad 15 yards. It was mostly defense in the first half, however, as Teitum Tuioti ended the first half with 1.5 sacks and Dakoda Fields had an interception off Austin Novosad that he returned 54 yards. When asked about the play of…

The game will put these players at the forefront, giving fans a taste of what’s to come in the 2024 season.
Offense
The most impactful departure is quarterback and Heisman finalist Bo Nix. The Denver Broncos drafted Nix 12th overall on Thursday, following his record-breaking senior season. Former Oklahoma quarterback Dillon Gabriel is the star of Saturday’s affair, taking over for. Nix. The Bushnell Beacons softball team is hoping to finish their season strong against Warner Pacific University in the final regular season series of the season. The team will rely on their star batter, Faith Wayman, who has a .297 batting record and 91 at-bats as the regular season comes to an end. On the pitching side, Emily Cole has a 3.01 ERA and a whopping 139 innings pitched up to this point.
Warner Pacific
The Warner Pacific Knights are also coming into this series looking to avenge a disappointing season. So far, seven of the athletes have played more than 75 percent or more of the team's games. Jordyn Rosario is the team's leading hitter, with a .333 average and 114 at bat. Pitching for the team is more difficult, with no pitcher having an ERA below five.
Bushnell
The biggest factor in this game, in my opinion, is going to be the pitching. Emily Cole has an ERA that is nearly…

No. 22 Oregon Baseball (28-12, 11-7 Pac-12) will face its toughest test yet this weekend as it heads to Corvallis to take on the No. 9 Oregon State Beavers (31-9, 10-7) starting Friday at 6:05 p.m.
The series technically spans three games in Corvallis, but it's immediately followed by one more matchup in Eugene Tuesday evening. The quartet marks the final Ducks-Beavers meetup of the Pac-12 era, but the significance doesn't stop there. Both teams are jockeying for Pac-12 tournament positioning, with the Ducks currently tied with Utah for second place in the conference and the Beavers sitting half a game behind. Both also have national title aspirations and are looking to boost their chances of hosting tournament games.
Oregon head coach Mark Wasikowski isn't typically one for drama or hyperbole. Still, even he couldn't deny the gravity of the occasion, calling it "the biggest rivalry on the West Coast" in terms of both talent and…
