By Max Ragel
EUGENE, Ore - The Oregon Ducks men's basketball team (19-11) defeated the Utah Utes (18-12) in their final game of the regular season before heading to Las Vegas, Nevada for the final Pac-12 tournament.
The Ducks opened the game strong, jumping out to a 15-5 point lead five minutes in. Utah quickly responded to make the game a back and forth affair with ten points being the largest lead on either side. Oregon really cooled off from three following their hot start. Utah capitalized on Oregon's mistakes, taking control of the game by hitting six threes. The hot shooting led the Utes to a 37-32 point halftime lead.
Both teams came out firing to start the second half of play. Utah maintained a steady lead thanks to costly Oregon turnovers that killed their momentum. Oregon put that behind them and pulled away in the final nine minutes. A Jermaine Couisnard lob to N'Faly Dante that ended with an-and-one dunk, electrified the crowd at…

EUGENE, Ore.
EUGENE, Ore. - The Bushnell Beacons softball team (6-9) will host the College of Idaho Yotes (9-7) to start their second home series of the season. The Beacons are coming off a tough trip across the border, losing three of their four games in Vancouver against the UBC Thunderbirds.
Bushnell Beacons:
The Beacons started their season by losing six consecutive games before winning their next five before the series in Canada. They played last Saturday and Sunday in doubleheaders and lost both on day one and split the games on day two. The team has struggled for consistency this year, and at this moment has a negative run differential. Their biggest challenge is with runs allowed, as Bushnell has allowed at least one run in all of its games so far. By contrast, the Beacons have been shut out five times, including a 1-0 game against Arizona Christian where the Firestorm scored one run in the first inning and that was the only run of…
