After a 2-0 start to the 2019 campaign, Oregon Volleyball will head out East for their first true challenges of the new season. Set to face three top 10 opponents in the span of four days, Coach Matt Ulmer's young team will learn a lot about where they are at this point in the season. Ulmer, as well as Ronika Stone and Kylie Robinson, met with the media on Friday to preview the anticipated road trip.

Even in a 27-21 loss to Auburn in the season opener the Oregon defense came under a lot of attention, and for the right reasons. The Ducks new-look defense looked superb against Auburn in the first half, only giving up a pair of field goals. With Avalos now pulling the strings many players have and will continue to benefit. One of those players is defensive tackle Austin Faoliu. Faoliu's role has expanded and now has more freedom in the trenches than ever.

With an opportunity, Spencer Webb took advantage. Now, he's looking to build on last week's heroics.
