STORY: Oregon Looking to Regain National Prominence Against Familiar Opponent
On January 10th, 2011, Oregon's hopes of a first national title in program history were ripped away after a gut-wrenching 22-19 loss against Auburn in the title game. Since then, Oregon Football has experienced a roller-coaster of peaks and valleys. But now, nearly nine years later, Oregon feels it has a chance to rejoin the national spotlight it once had. Led by Heisman candidate Justin Herbert and one of the best offensive lines in the country, #11 Oregon returns a talented and experienced team in position to make a big push this season. To start the year, Oregon faces a roadblock that the program is familiar with: The Auburn Tigers. Saturday's match-up represents a chance to make steps towards that lucrative national title it could taste in 2011. In order to get back into the national title picture, Oregon must get past the program that held them back from their best chance at College Football's greatest honor.

VB | Oregon Freshmen Shine in Season-Opener Scrimmage
Oregon Volleyball fans were once again cheering inside Matthew Knight Arena. The Oregon Volleyball roster for 2019 features ten freshmen who will play their first fall seasons wearing green and yellow. The youthful squad will be led by a core of four players with their sights set on being All-Americans: Ronika Stone, Willow Johnson, Taylor Borup, and Brooke Nuneviller. Next week Oregon officially opens its season at home against Boston College and UC Irvine.
