STORY: Oregon Volleyball Dominates UCI 3-0 in Season Opener

Oregon Volleyball started out its 2019 campaign strong with a dominant 3-0 (25-13, 25-16, 25-13) victory over UC Irvine. The Ducks were led by veterans on Friday with dominant performances from Willow Johnson (12 kills, 5 digs), Ronika Stone (10 kills, .769, 4 blocks) and new OH Brooke Nuneviller (8 kills, 6 digs). Oregon hit .536, fired 7 service aces, and had 12 blocks. Oregon used a handful of new young players, but most notable was Kylie Robinson, who had 29 assists. The Ducks also saw contributions from FR Bea Wetton, FR Taylor Williams, RSFR Karson Bacon, and FR Georgia Murphy. Oregon will look to move to 2-0 on the season Saturday against Boston College at MKA, starting at 6pm.
