After closing the regular season 10-2 and finishing an undefeated year at home, the #13 Oregon Ducks have earned the right to play for a Pac-12 title this upcoming Friday in Santa Clara. In front of them stand the #5 Utah Utes (11-1), who have been dominant this Pac-12 season outside of an early loss @ USC. Head Coach Mario Cristobal addressed the media on Monday to preview Friday's showdown.

In the 123rd edition of the Civil War, Oregon led from start to finish to defeat Oregon State, 24-10. Both teams started with a field goal, making it tied 3-3 towards the end of the first quarter. On the ensuing kickoff, Mykael Wright brought it back 98 yards to put Oregon up 10-3. Not long after, Johnny Johnson hauled in a 28 yard TD pass from Justin Herbert to put the Ducks up 17-3. While it looked like the game was tipping Oregon's direction quickly, the offense stalled for a long period and it would remain 17-3 through the third quarter. Oregon's defense certainly came ready to play, allowing 380 total yards and just one touchdown. While Justin Herbert (18-30, 174 yards, 1 TD) and Oregon's offense (365 total yards) didn't have its best day, defense and special teams certainly delivered for the Ducks. Scoring runs and senior heroics were the theme of this match as Seniors Ronika Stone and Willow Johnson played their final matches as Oregon Ducks. With multiple Ducks in double digit kills and the Ducks stepping up big when they needed it the most Oregon was able to end the season with a win. The Ducks end the season 9-20 and will begin preparing for next season after missing out on the NCAA tournament.
