WBB | Oregon Gets Hot From 3 and Takes Revenge on ASU

Written Story: Scott Wardwell

The Ducks took revenge 79-48 on the Sun Devils Sunday afternoon, who were responsible for one of their only two losses on the season. In a chippy game which totaled three technical fouls, the Ducks were able to pull away in the second half, putting up 55 points by getting hot from deep. Ionescu led all scorers with 19 points. Shelley and Boley also had good games, tallying 14 a piece.

The story of the game was the Ducks ability to turn around their slow pace in the first half and shoot well in the second. They finished 13-25 (52%) from long range, and 27-55 (49%) from the field.

The Sun Devils did not have the same success from deep. They shot just 4-13 (30%) from beyond the stripe. They also had trouble holding onto the ball as the Ducks forced them into 18 turnovers. The inability to hit open shots and keep control of the basketball limited their offense all afternoon as they were trailing big all…

WBB | Oregon Bests Arizona 85-52 in Pivotal Pac-12 Clash Between Top Ranked Teams

Written By: Sam Greenvillle Audio Story By: Cole Rothman

It was business as usual for #3 ranked Oregon Ducks as the #12 University of Arizona Wildcats came to Matthew Knight on a Friday evening, in what started as a sloppy tightly contested game, that finished in a Ducks blowout. Matthew Knight once again showed out as the arena was packed for this game that showcased two of the top teams not only in the Pac-12, but the entire country. However the Ducks have been on a warpath recently as winners of eight straight, now nine, in a contest that once again emphasized how good this Oregon team can be even against top talented teams in the nation. The Wildcats themselves had been playing very well, not losing a game in over a month to, you guessed it, Oregon last month in Tucson. Cate Reese was the leading scorer for Arizona with 17 points. On the other side, Sabrina poured in another triple double (15-10-11) for the unprecedented…

AUDIO: Oregon Basketball Looking to Improve their Road Resume as they Prepare for the Civil War

#14 Oregon Men's Basketball only play one game this weekend but it's a contest they're sure to be ready for, the Civil War. Oregon has been poor against the Beavers in recent history, getting swept by their in-state rival last year. This season, Oregon is sitting pretty at the top of the PAC-12, while Oregon State languishes in 11th. That being said Oregon will be without their two primary centers, Francis Okoro and N'Faly Dante. The depth at the five compiled with below-average conference road results the Ducks will have a handful with OSUs size and the atmosphere presented at Gil Coliseum. Before their trip up the I-5 head coach Dana Altman, guard Payton Pritchard, and forward Anthony Mathis addressed the media Thursday afternoon.
