Coming off a historic win against the third ranked Stanford Cardinal, the Ducks took on the California Golden Bears. The Bears were searching for their first road win of the season coming into the afternoon and they didn’t find it in Eugene. The Ducks dismantled the Golden Bears from the inside out on their way to one of their most lop-sided wins of the year. Oregon was firing on all cylinders on the offensive end and every starter finished the game in double figures and the Ducks cruised their way into triple digits.

Satou Sabally was dominant inside the paint and on the perimeter. The junior star was in attack mode from the opening tip to the final whistle and finished the game with a season-high 31 points. Tonight the number six Oregon Ducks took down the 3rd ranked Stanford Cardinal in blowout fashion. After a hotly contested first half, Oregon was able to run away with a 87 to 55 win, outscoring Stanford 51 to 25 in the second half.  

Stanford led at the end of the first quarter, but that was the only lead they had all night. The Ducks took the lead with 5 minutes left in the second quarter and never looked back. Oregon led 36 to 30 at halftime, and the second half was all Oregon and all Ionescu. The Sabrina Show was in full effect tonight as she became Oregon’s all-time scoring leader, set a new career high of 37 points and had a double. It was a game that Sabrina called one of her top five favorite games ever and a game that Oregon fans won’t soon forget.
