BSB: Oregon Blanked at Home in Game Two Loss vs. FAU
Led by FAU star pitcher Kyle Marman, the Owls defeated the Ducks 5-0 in Eugene Saturday afternoon. Despite Oregon's nine hits, they weren't able to convert them into runs, leading to being shutout for the first time this young season. FAU capitalized on Oregon's struggle at the mound including a double from Andru Summerall that drove in two Owl runs in the top of the fourth inning. Oregon relievers Hunter Breault and Nico Tellache stepped up for the Ducks as they pitched five innings, only giving up one run that came off a Tyler Frank homer in top of the eighth. These two teams will meet again Sunday afternoon as they prepare for game three of this four game series.
