SB: Oregon Sweeps Doubleheader vs. USF in Tampa
No. 6 Oregon softball swept the doubleheader against South Florida on Thursday in Tampa, Florida. The Ducks opened the day with a 6-1 win against the Bulls behind a stellar pitching performance from junior Megan Kleist. Kleist kept South Florida off the scoreboard for the first six innings on just one hit before the Bulls pushed a run across in the seventh inning. Kleist finished the game herself, throwing seven innings, allowing just one run on two hits, while striking out 10 and walking one en route to her fifth win of the season. The offense supported her with a run in the first inning when Shannon Rhodes singled in Jenna Lilley. The Ducks added three more in the fourth inning and one run in both the fifth and sixth innings. South Florida did not help its own cause as they committed three errors which allowed three unearned runs to score.

Oregon Men's Baseball Cruises to 14-0 Win Over Visiting Seattle
In their home opener, Oregon climbed out to an early 13 run lead in the second inning and never looked back. Oregon has now one 8 out of 10 home openers at PK Park, and 5 in a row. Kyle Kasser and Spencer Steer led the way for the Ducks with 2 and 3 hits respectively. The Ducks threw 6 different arms in their first shutout of the season. Starting pitcher Cullen Kafka earned his first collegiate victory, pitching 3 scoreless frames. The Ducks improved to 5-2 on the early season, and will begin a 4 game series against the Florida Atlantic Owls on Friday evening.

Despite being swept in Los Angeles two weekends ago, the Oregon Men's Basketball team has crept its way back into potential NCAA tournament talk following a sweep of the visiting Arizona schools. With only a weekend at Washington State and Washington left in the regular season, urgency is high for the team; they can finish anywhere between 3rd and 7th in the conference, depending on results from around the Pac-12 and from Oregon's two remaining games. The team met with media Tuesday afternoon before practice to lend their thoughts to the public before Thursday's match-up with Washington State.
