Following an 8-0 run-rule loss to the Ducks, the Utah Utes were looking to turn their fortunes around in game two of the weekend series. Utah starter Miranda Viramontes held Oregon hitless through the first four innings as her team took a 2-0 lead, but the Oregon bats came alive in the fifth, totaling four runs and six hits in the innings. From their, Oregon ace Miranda Elish did her job, holding the Utes scoreless through the final two frames of the game to seal the victory. Haley Cruse once again had a strong night out of the ninth spot in the order, going two for two with two singles and a run scored. The Utes will have one more shot at the Ducks when they play on Sunday, May 6 at Jane Sanders Stadium.

Oregon Track and Field Combines Past and Present for Last Home Meet At Historic Hayward Field
Oregon Track & Field held their final home meet of the season on Friday, as a variety of local schools and former Oregon athletes such as Devon Allen, Raevyn Rogers, Kyree King, Jasmine Todd, Marcus Chambers and a hoist of other alumni came to compete. The alumni stole the show in this meet; Devon Allen won the 110m hurdles and the 100m, Raevyn Rogers won the womens 400m and Mike Berry won the mens 400m, Marcus Chambers won the 200m, just to name a few. For the Oregon men's squad, notable performances included Sam Prakel winning the 800m, Myles Webb taking second in the 100m, Max Lydum taking the hammer throw, and Reed Brown winning the 1500m. For the women's side, Keera Stephen took the 100m hurdles, Maddie Rabing won the shot put, Madi Greenleaf won the 400m hurdles and Lilli Burdon won the 1500m. AUDIO: Oregon Softball's Seniors Prepare for Regular Season Home Finale
Following an emphatic sweep of then-no. 4 Washington up in Seattle, the no. 2 Oregon softball team returns to the Jane this weekend for a three-game series versus Utah in what will be their final regular season home stand of the year. With Sunday serving as the "senior day celebration," despite the strong likelihood that the Ducks will host at least one weekend of postseason softball later this month, Oregon will honor four seniors: Gwen Svekis, Jenna Lilley, DJ Sanders and Lauren Lindvall. After the impressive previous weekend, the Ducks have no time to relax in the race for the PAC-12 championship, which currently features Oregon knotted at the top of the standings with rival UCLA at 15-3 in conference play.
