AUDIO: Oregon Mens' Basketball Rides 10-Game Win Streak Into Sweet Sixteen

In a run that was improbable to predict a month ago, No. 12 seeded Oregon men's basketball carries one of the nation's longest winning streaks at 10-games into the Sweet Sixteen of the 2019 NCAA Tournament. The Ducks sit as the only remaining double-digit seed in the tournament following two double-digit victories down in San Jose, collecting wins against No. 5 Wisconsin in the first round and No. 13 UC-Irvine in the second. Junior point guard Payton Pritchard continued his impressive stretch, leading the Ducks with 18.5 points per game in the tournament's opening rounds. Freshman Louis King stepped up in his first postseason action, averaging 16.5 points so far, while Kenny Wooten and Paul White also enter the second weekend averaging double figures. Wooten, who's combination of emphatic dunks and blocks took the tournament by storm in San Jose, is also averaging seven rebounds per game along with 5.5 blocks. Combining with the conistency in its starting lineup has been senior…

WBB | Ionescu's and Oregon's Hot Shooting Secures Sweet Sixteen Bid

Sabrina Ionescu grabbed her 18th career triple-double and tied the program's single tournament game record with 29 points as No. 2 seeded Oregon women's basketball advanced to the 2019 NCAA Tournament's Sweet Sixteen in a 91-68 win over No. 10 Indiana. Though the Hoosiers competed in the first half, even grabbing a lead in the second quarter, Indiana couldn't contain Oregon, which shot an efficient 52% from the floor and hit 45% of its three-pointers. Defensively, the Ducks were opportunistic in turning 12 IU turnovers into 26 points the other way, which nicely canceled out its own 11 turnovers. Joining Ionescu in double figures was Satou Sabally, who tallied 19 points to go with 8 rebounds, and Erin Boley, who finished the night with 14 points on four made-threes. Now, Oregon awaits the winner of Syracuse-South Dakota State in the Portland Regional semi-final next weekend. Listen below to both sides' reactions and a full game story.
