AUDIO: Oregon Football Ready for Saturday Showcase in Portland

With a few weeks to go before the team takes to Autzen Stadium for the 2019 Spring Game, Oregon football practiced inside on Thursday morning ahead of its first showcase to the public this Saturday, when the Ducks will head to Portland for an open scrimmage. One player in particular that's ready to get out in front of a crowd is junior tight end Cam McCormick, who missed all of the 2018 season after breaking his leg in the Ducks' opener. On display for Oregon will be a new-look defense spearheaded by defensive coordinator Andy Avalos, who brings with him a new position on the defense known as the STUD. Ripe for the opportunity to fulfill this new role is sophomore linebacker Adrian Jackson, who has bulked up in preparation for the new position.
