AUDIO: Oregon Faces Final Road Trip of Regular Season

Oregon remains tied atop the Pac-12 standings, but a rough weekend visiting the Arizona schools could see them tumble all the way to sixth place. Oregon has just five regular season games left, and only two games left to try and improve on road woes. Oregon is the only team left standing in the Pac-12 with a perfect conference record at home (6-0) yet they have been falling short on the road with a 3-4 conference record. Head Coach Dana Altman points out that home teams have won 70% of games in the Pac-12 this season, but only a fraction of the Eugene fans will follow Oregon throughout the tournament, and the Ducks need to play more consistent away from home to make noise in the postseason.

MBB | #17 Oregon Extends Home Win Streak To 14 Against Utah

Story By: Cole Rothman

Tonight, the number 17 Oregon Ducks took on the Utah Utes in what proved to be a lightly contested game. The Ducks fought their way to an 18 point, 80-62 victory over the Utes, who struggled to stop or slow the Ducks all night. The Utes managed to hang around for most of the night thanks to timely shooting and tough defense, but the Ducks were just too talented.

Oregon was eventually able to put the Utes away with around 4 minutes to play, but the Utes did well to keep Oregon’s lead under 20 points for the entirety of the game. The Utes got double digit contributions from Branden Carlson, Timmy Allen and freshman point-guard Rylan Jones, who led Utah with 18 points.

Despite the Utes impassioned effort on both ends of the floor, the Ducks seemed to have an answer for every punch Utah threw. Payton Pritchard led all scorers with 25 pts, Will Richardson contributed 18 pts, 6 rbs and 6 assists and…

MBB | Oregon remains unbeaten at home after defeating Colorado 68-60

Text Story by Jonah Rosenberg

After a tough 74-65 loss in Boulder just over a month ago, the Oregon Ducks were hungry to exact revenge on the Colorado Buffaloes. When the Buffs came to town on Thursday night, Oregon was prepared to tie the season series up. Although it wasn’t a perfect game for the Ducks, Oregon did just enough to escape with a 68-60 victory.

The first half was ugly for the Ducks finding themselves in a 9 point hole at the break. The Ducks jumped out to a 16-10 lead early in the game due to good shooting from the backcourt, but it was to no avail as the Buffaloes proceeded to go on a 20-0 run fueled by long range shooting over the course of 7.5 minutes.  With 3:30 to go in the first half, the Ducks finally got on the board off the back of a Chris Duarte three point play. Oregon finished the half on a 10-5 run through the final 3:30 of the period to cut the Buffaloes lead to 35-26.

To start the second half…
