No. 6 Oregon football (9-1, 7-0) is into the final stretch of the 2019 regular season, with a matchup at Arizona State (5-5, 2-5) on deck for this Saturday. The road test will be the Ducks' final one of the season. Oregon, which defeated Arizona 34-6 last Saturday in Autzen Stadium, has already clinched the Pac-12 North and a spot in the conference championship game on Dec. 6 in Santa, Clara, Calif. But with the Sun Devils still vying for a bowl berth, and the College Football Playoff, which the Ducks are just outside of the top four teams, well-within reach, Oregon will need to be sharp again this weekend. As the team prepares for ASU, head coach Mario Cristobal spoke with the media on Monday. Listen below to the full interview:

After losing to three Texas schools last year (Houston, Baylor, Texas Southern) Oregon got a monkey off their back by defeating UT Arlington in Matt Knight Arena on Sunday, November 17th. Payton Pritchard lit up the box score with 24 points (10 for 16), 3 assists, and 8 rebounds. Freshman C.J. Walker played 21 minutes tonight, and although he failed to score any points, he grabbed 8 rebounds and played well on defense. While the Ducks only mustered 67 points, their defense suffocated a Mavericks team that could not shoot the ball. The Mavericks only shot 27% in the first half, and then 19% in the second half. UT Arlington also launched 30 three-pointers tonight. They only made 6 of those 30. Oregon hopes to avenge last season's loss when they host Houston next week.

The Ducks played host to the Arizona State Sun Devils on Sunday in Matthew Night Arena. Oregon lost in a thrilling match that went 5 sets.
The Ducks were looking to play spoiler to the Sun Devils tournament hopes as Arizona State entered the match with a record of 14-12 and was right on the bubble of tournament contention. Arizona State rolled through the first set with relative ease defeating the Ducks 25-19, Oregon was forced to switch formations from a 6-2 to a 5-1 when Kylie Robinson fell victim to symptoms of her concussion which held her out for the last 2 weekends of play. The Ducks would rally back thanks in large part to Freshmen Taylor Williams and Karson Bacon, Sophomore Brooke Nuneviller, and Seniors Ronika Stone and Willow Johnson. Oregon took both the 2nd and 3rd sets by the smallest margin of victory as it took more than 25 points for the Ducks to win and both sets finished with a score of 27-25 to give Oregon a 2-1 lead heading into the 4th set. The sixth-ranked Oregon Ducks move to 9-1 on the season, remaining unbeaten in the PAC-12 as they overcome their Arizona troubles that have haunted them in the recent past. Just last season the Ducks were embarrassed in Tucson 44-15. It was a different story tonight, and it was easy to tell from the jump. In Herbert first throw of the game, the senior quarterback went 73 yards faking out the Wildcat secondary on a pump-fake then finding Johnny Johnson III down the sideline. Explosive plays were the story for Oregon as in the next quarter the Ducks had a double-reverse flea-flicker where Herbert found a streaking Juwan Johnson for a 53 yard touchdown.
Oregon had no rust coming off their second bye and it showed taking a 21-0 lead with five minutes left in the first half. It was smooth sailing after the three-score lead and the defense was the star in the second half as the offense stalled to start the third quarter. Andy Avalos's unit didn't allow a touchdown and got back…
