STORY: Oregon Men's Basketball Steamrolled by BYU in Portland, 81-49

It wasn't Oregon's night in Portland, as it came out flat from the jump and ultimately fell to BYU, 81-49. After shooting 17% in the first half, the offensive woes carried on as the Ducks finished the game shooting a somber 32%. Eric Williams Jr. was the lone Duck in double figures with 12 points. Will Richardson, Jacob Young, and Quincy Guerrier all finished with 8 points. Defensively, the Ducks allowed the Cougars to shoot 60% from the field and 41% from behind the arc. BYU's Alex Barcello was far and away the best player on the court tonight - finishing with 25 points on 9-11 shooting.

This is Oregon's worst loss since falling 96-61 at Stanford on February 3rd, 2018. BYU's clip of 60% is also the highest shooting percentage Oregon has allowed since allowing Stanford to shoot 62.5% in that 2018 game.

The good news for Oregon tonight is that N'Faly Dante made his return to the lineup after suffering an ACL injury last season. Besides that, the Ducks will look…

#10 Oregon Women's Basketball rolls past Dixie State, 84-35

Written story by AJ Traynor

This Sunday afternoon the Oregon Ducks (1-0) took on the Dixie State Trailblazers (1-1) in Matthew Knight Arena, resulting in a powerful win for the Ducks with a final score of 84-35.

It was a full team effort across all facets of the game, but the scoring was led by Ahlise Hurst, 17 points, and Kylee Watson, 16 points on 100% shooting. A main part of what prevented Dixie State from scoring was their lacking ability to hold the ball, finishing the game with 21 turnovers. These turnovers were forced by Oregon’s Sydney Parrish with 4 steals and Kylee Watson with another 3 steals. Crashing the glass also helped the Ducks get this win, this was emphasized by Phillipina Kyei who had 5 offensive rebounds and another 5 defensive boards. Kyei also had a double-double with 13 points off the bench. Oregon handled this game from the start, never trailing for a second, but made sure they didn’t let up a…

#17 Oregon Volleyball Sweeps #12 UCLA

By Logan Thompson

Eugene, Oregon — The #17 Oregon Ducks (20-6, 11-5) defeated the UCLA Bruins (25-23, 25-17, 25-20) Saturday afternoon. With this win, the Ducks have now won 5 straight matches in a streak that includes beating 2 top 25 teams.

The Ducks won three straight sets against the Bruins giving them the sweep

The First set started out slow for the Ducks as the Bruins were able to build up a 6 point lead early on in the set as the Ducks would go down 6-12. The Ducks however were able to keep their heads in the game and rally back and take the lead after taking 9 out of 10 points later on giving them the lead in the set 16-14. The Ducks would hold onto this lead for the rest of the set eventually taking it 25-23.

The second set looked a lot like the second part of the first set as the Ducks continued to outplay the Bruins as they were able to take an early lead. While the Scoring for the ducks started with a kill from…

STORY: #3 Oregon Football Uses Big Second Half to Handle Washington State, 38-24

Written Story (by Sean MacPherson)

Oregon Football took care of business against Washington State on Saturday, 38-24. After surrendering a 70-yard pass on the second play from scrimmage, Oregon forced a touchback on a run from WSU QB Jayden De Laura. The Ducks used that momentum shift to jump out to a 14-0 lead, but the Cougars followed that up with a 14-0 run of their own to make the halftime score 14-14. Out of halftime, the Ducks struck right away with a big kick return from Mykael Wright that ultimately led to a 5 play, 43-yard scoring drive. The Ducks followed that up with a Camden Lewis FG to go up 24-14. With 10:28 left to play in the fourth quarter, Anthony Brown thought he found his second rushing TD of the day but instead fumbled to keep Washington State alive. Oregon scored on the ensuing drive, and a Bryan Addison interception essentially put the game away. Both teams managed to score once more, but the Ducks wound up with the 38-24 victory.
