MBB | Top-Ranked Baylor Edges Oregon in Shootout

EUGENE, Ore. — For the first time since 2007 the Oregon Ducks (6-5) hosted the #1 team in the nation as the undefeated Baylor Bears (9-0) came to town for the biggest non-conference game Oregon has hosted. Despite the lopsided records, the Ducks hung with the top-ranked bears throughout but Baylor ultimately prevailed 78-70.

Both teams entered the game coming off hot wins as Oregon routed Portland 96-71 in their best offensive showing of the year and Baylor dominated #6 Villanova 57-36 for their best defensive performance this season.

The Ducks were able to carry the excellent shooting from the Portland game into the first half against Baylor as the Ducks shots 58.3% from the field and 54.5% from 3 point range in the first half of basketball.

MBB | Ducks Dominate In All Phases For Bounce Back Win Over Pilots

The Oregon Ducks offense paved the way to a 96-71 victory over the Portland Pilots Wednesday evening at Matthew Knight Arena. After suffering a deflating loss to the Stanford Cardinal on a game winning buzzer beater the Ducks responded in a big way, and pushed their season win percentage back over .500.

The Ducks had 4 players score over 16 points, including 20 from starting center N'Faly Dante. He helped set the tone as the Ducks outscored the Pilots 54-14 in the paint. Guards De'Vion Harmon and Will Richardson also had positive performances for the Ducks. Harmon set his Ducks career high with 19 points, and Richardson had one of his better games of the season scoring 16 points and adding 6 assists. Quincy Guerrier showed why he was voted on an All-Pac-12 team before the season. The Syracuse transfer scored 17 points on 8-12 shooting, including hitting his first 6 shots.

The Oregon Ducks stride to a 109-38 victory over the McNeese State Cowgirls. Oregon came into tonight off of three straight underwhelming performances but came out hot against McNeese St. A 27-0 run to start the game anchored by Sydney Parrish set the tone and Oregon never let off the gas.

The difference in the score was for one simple reason. Oregon shot the lights out. The Ducks Shot 60.5% from the field and 55% from deep while holding McNeese St. to 21.3% on the night.

Six Ducks ended up in Double figures on the night. Sydney Parrish and Kylee Watson led the way with 21 points apiece. Ahlise Hurst shined as well and hit a career milestone of 1K points for her career in the process.

The Ducks advance to 6-3 on the season after the victory. Oregon is going to travel to the Midwest next weekend to face off against Kansas State on Dec. 18th and Northwestern on Dec. 21st.

MBB Game Story: Ducks Comeback Stalls, Cardinal Win on Buzzer Beater

The Oregon mens basketball team traveled south to Palo Alto to take on Stanford in what was both teams second PAC-12 game of the season. Oregon was coming off of a bad loss to a tumbling Arizona State program, and the trend continued, as the game ended on a buzzer-beating three pointer by Stanford's Jaiden Delaire. The Ducks battled, however, and had the game tied with just three seconds to go, despite being down 11 midway through the second half.

Neither team shot particularly well in the first half, but Stanford ended with a seven point lead due to strong defense by Freshman Harrison Ingram. Ingram, who would finish the night with 18 points, had 11 in the first half, along with three rebounds and three assists. Oregon, who failed to score in the last 4:35 of the half, was led by Will Richardson and his three deep balls.
