Nashville Regional Expanded Preview: Oregon looks to make first super regional since 2012 after winning PAC-12 Tournament
By: Ian Sutliff
Eugene, OR--- On Memorial Day, regional pairings were announced for NCAA baseball’s 2023 tournament and with Vanderbilt receiving the sixth overall seed, they’ll host a strong regional with Oregon, Xavier, and Eastern Illinois. The Ducks made the trip to Nasheville on Wednesday night into Tennessee where they’ll face a familiar face on Friday in the Xavier Musketeers. During the first week of the season, Oregon hosted Xavier at PK Park where the Ducks swept the Musketeers in four games, but both teams are very different than they were over three months ago. The Commodores are the overwhelming favorite to win the regional as one of the best teams in the nation, coupled with their dominance at home this season (25-6 at Hawkins field). It should be a fun regional with plenty of offense with first pitch at 10:00 PST between Xavier and Oregon on ESPN+.

SB Mega Preview: Ducks head to Stillwater for Super Regional with trip to College World Series on the line
By: Ian Sutliff
Eugene, OR-- After a stunning victory over Arkansas in the Fayatteville regional, Melyssa Lombardi and her team will focus their attention on Oklahoma State as they travel to Stillwater for the super regional starting Thursday at 6 P.M. Both teams won their regionals without facing elimination and after rough dissapointing ends to their regular seasons, the Ducks and Cowgirls are just two wins away from heading to the College World Series. Last time out the Cowgirls took down the Ducks in Puerto Vallarta in the opening week of the season, but since then the two squads have played over 100 combined games. With Oregon searching for its first CWS appearance since 2018, it’ll have to get past a strong veteran-led Oklahoma State group who is looking to make its fourth straight trip to Oklahoma City. This article has you covered for everything you need to know about the Stillwater super regional.
