Oregon Men's Tennis defeats Drake 7-0

The Oregon Men's Tennis Team defeated the Drake Bulldogs on Sunday afternoon 7-0. They started off by winning the doubles point for the 9th consecutive match in a row and from then on the Ducks didn't look back. The Ducks won all six singles matches, but the most notable one was by Thomas Laurent, who won his 15th consecutive singles match. That is tied for first in program history with Robin Cambier and current teammate Simon Stevens, who accomplished the same feat in 2015. The Ducks next match is on March 5 at UC Santa Barbara. The Ducks fell behind early and never recovered, dropping the first leg of their final home stand 55-49 to the visiting California Golden Bears. Oregon was dominated on the boards, as Cal grabbed a 40-26 advantage while Kristine Anigwe got 10 of her own to go with 16 points to lead all scorers.
