The Oregon Ducks outmatched the UC-Davis Aggies on Monday, defeating them by a score of 7-2. Oregon produced on the mound as well as in the batter's box. Starting pitcher Zack Noll went five innings allowing four hit, one earned run and striking out four. As for the offense, the Ducks got three hits out of both Spencer Steer and Gabe Matthews. The cold weather and precipitation did not deter the Ducks from taking the third game of the series against the Mississippi St. Bulldogs 6-5 in 11 innings at PK Park Sunday afternoon. Sophomore Kyle Kasser delivered a walk-off single to score pinch-runner Carson Breshears from second base for the winning run. Kasser, who belted his first career homerun on Friday, came through again when the Ducks needed him most. Freshman Kenyon Yovan pitched three scoreless innings of relief to keep the Ducks alive in extras.
