SB: Ducks lose in extras to UW 5-3
Oregon Softball returned to the Jane Saturday after splitting the first two games against UW in this series. After getting off to a slow start offensively, the Ducks eventually took the lead in the fourth on a Nikki Udria home run. The Ducks blew the save in the seventh and eventually lost in the ninth after Morganne Flores drove in two with her third double of the game. Despite being tied most of the game, the Ducks were out hit 12 to 5. Oregon will look forward to next weekend, when they head to Tucson to play the conference leading Wildcats. The first game is Friday at 5:00 PM.

SB: Ducks take Game Two Against the Huskies 4-1
After dropping game 1 of the series 4-2, the Ducks were eager to take revenge against their rivals, the Washington Huskies. After getting off to a 1-0 start in the first inning, the Ducks erupted for three runs in the third and one in the fifth while holding a power Huskies offense at bay. The Ducks only managed to get four hits, but found offense in other factions of the game, walking four times and reaching on an error twice. Oregon sophomore pitcher Kleist was in control most of the game, allowing only one run on five hits and striking out five as well. The Ducks will look to win the series against the Huskies on Saturday at 12:00 P.M.

Week 2 of Oregon Football's spring workouts is nearly complete after the Ducks practiced inside the Moshofsky Center on Friday because of rain. Oregon has one more scheduled practice this week (Saturday, in an open-to-the-public scrimmage hosted by Jesuit High School in Portland, Ore.). The annual Spring Game is slated for April 29 at 11:00 a.m. and it will be broadcast on KWVA Eugene 88.1 FM as part of the inaugural Saturday Sports Marathon on KWVA (also on April 29 is softball and soccer).
