BSB: Ducks lose to Stanford in series opener 4-3
The Oregon Ducks faced the Stanford Cardinal to begin a three-game series at PK Park on Friday. Usually, Friday nights have been automatic for the Ducks with their southpaw ace David Peterson. However, the Cardinal bats started hot from the first inning. The Ducks rallied in the seventh inning after consecutive RBI singles by Jake Bennett (21) and Spencer Steer (24). The Ducks will resume their series against the Cardinal on Saturday afternoon.
