Ducks Drop Game Two vs. Arizona State 4-3 after Missed Opportunities
Oregon baseball was unable to capitalize on multiple opportunities in their 4-3 loss to Arizona State on Saturday. Ducks weren't able to get that big hit all day. The frustrating day was capped off when Matthew Dyer was tagged out at home trying to score the tying run on a wild pitch in the ninth inning. Oregon starter Matt Mercer went 5 and 1/3 innings giving up five hits and two runs.

SB| Ducks take Game 1 of the Civil War 8-0
After struggling on offense in recent weeks, the Ducks exploded for 9 hits and 8 runs in just five innings of play against the Oregon State Beavers. OSU starting pitcher Taylor Cotton started off the game well. After walking the first two batters, she struck out six of the next eight batters and held the Ducks scoreless. The hot start wouldn't last long after Gwen Svekis hit a home run to give Oregon a 1-0 lead in the 4th inning. That opened the floodgates and the Ducks erupted for three more runs in the innings. Thereafter; the Ducks won in walk-off fashion when Mia Camuso launched one over the center field wall with the bases loaded to give Oregon the 8-0 win via the run rule. Oregon State only produced three hits the entire game and left all three runners on base. Game 2 of the Civil War will take place at Jane Sanders Stadium at 1 P.M. on Saturday, April 29th.
