Beavers Deflate Ducks' Offense, Sweep Civil War Series

Entering the game undefeated on the year, OSU starting pitcher Jake Thompson cruised through the first 6 and 2/3 innings on Saturday night and picked up the win against the Ducks after giving up no runs on two hits. The Beavers added a run off a RBI from SS Cadyn Grenier in the 4th and that's all it would take as Oregon never got their offense going. The win secured the series sweep for Oregon State, and moves them to 4-0 on the year in the Civil War rivalry, and makes it six straight losses for the Ducks whose postseason hopes likely hinged on this weekend's result.
