SB: #6 Oregon Ducks sweep away the Beavers 7-0

The #6 Oregon Ducks took the series against the Oregon St. Beavers sweeping them. This is not the first time the Ducks have swept the Beavers in the Civil War Series; Oregon head coach Mike White has not lost to the team from Corvallis since 2012. Oregon CF Shannon Rhodes clobbered the ball belting an early three-run home run in the first inning. She added to the Ducks lead in the fifth inning singling home Alexis Mack and Nikki Udria earning herself five RBI for the game. The #6 Oregon Ducks took the series against the Oregon St. Beavers sweeping them.   After suffering a tough loss on Saturday at the hands of the Arizona State Sun Devils, the Oregon Ducks were able to bounce back on Sunday, defeating ASU 3-2 behind 11 strong hits and a productive start by sophomore pitcher Cole Stringer. Center fielder Jake Bennett lead the Ducks on offense, posting two hits in five at-bats, plating 2 RBIs and one run. The Ducks went up 3-1 in the fourth inning, but the Sun Devils cut the lead to one with a straight-away home run by freshman Hunter Bishop. Ducks Drop Game Two vs. Arizona State 4-3 after Missed Opportunities

Oregon baseball was unable to capitalize on multiple opportunities in their 4-3 loss to Arizona State on Saturday. Ducks weren't able to get that big hit all day. The frustrating day was capped off when Matthew Dyer was tagged out at home trying to score the tying run on a wild pitch in the ninth inning.
