Oregon football head coach Willie Taggart announced that the Ducks' second and final scheduled scrimmage of the fall has been pushed back to Thursday, August 24. Oregon volleyball scrimmaged itself in a Green vs Yellow match ahead of the team's trip to Gainesville, Fla. to play in the Vert Challenge against No. 5 Nebraska and No. 1 Texas. The four-set scrimmage finished in a 2-2 tie but there were standout players, including Lauren Page for the Green team and Willow Johnson for the Yellow team. Each finished with 15 kills.
