March is upon us, and it is every college basketball fan's favorite time of the year. It is time to dive into the final PAC-12 basketball tournament, where our team must win, as it appears that only two, maybe three teams, from the conference will secure an invitation to the greatest sporting event in the land. Below you will find the matchups for the first round of the PAC-12 tournament, starting on Wednesday, March 13, in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the T-Mobile Arena.  This year it is a guaranteed win-or-go-home scenario for the 5-12 seeds. So in a few hours, the duels will begin, and teams will strive to stay alive. Winners will move on to the quarters to play bye-rested top-four teams, where there will be significant possibilities for surprising outcomes. Oregon Ducks:

The Ducks have enjoyed a very good season so far, losing only one of the series they’ve played. Last week they won four out of five games in Arizona, winning both against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes and only losing one to the Arizona State Sun Devils in their first conference games in 2024. EUGENE, Ore - The Oregon Ducks men's basketball team (19-11) defeated the Utah Utes (18-12) in their final game of the regular season before heading to Las Vegas, Nevada for the final Pac-12 tournament.

The Ducks opened the game strong, jumping out to a 15-5 point lead five minutes in. Utah quickly responded to make the game a back and forth affair with ten points being the largest lead on either side. Oregon really cooled off from three following their hot start. Utah capitalized on Oregon's mistakes, taking control of the game by hitting six threes. The hot shooting led the Utes to a 37-32 point halftime lead.

Both teams came out firing to start the second half of play. Utah maintained a steady lead thanks to costly Oregon turnovers that killed their momentum. Oregon put that behind them and pulled away in the final nine minutes. A Jermaine Couisnard lob to N'Faly Dante that ended with an-and-one dunk, electrified the crowd at…
