After a shaky 2018 season saw Oregon Baseball finish 26-29 and miss out on the postseason, the Ducks feel confident that 2019 will be more successful. With a slew of talented returners, headlined by projected Friday-starter Kenyon Yovan, Oregon will start off the new season on February 15th, in an early-season battle at #8 Texas Tech. With the start of the season three weeks away, Head Coach George Horton, Kenyon Yovan, Ryne Nelson and Spencer Steer met with media to discuss the state of the program.

It will be a challenging test for Washington State, which is coming off an 0-2 road trip to the Bay Area and boasts the conference's worst scoring defense. In head coach Kelly Graves' tenure, the Ducks are 3-0 in Pullman and blew out the Cougars in Eugene 98-58 on on January 6th. Now, after splitting that weekend with the Wildcats and the Arizona State Sun Devils, the Ducks face another undefeated Pac-12 foe, as Washington heads to Matthew Knight on Thursday, January 24.
