The Ducks came into the season as the No. 1 team in the Pac-12 preseason polls and ranked No. 14 nationally as the team boasted the No. 3 recruiting class, but these rankings definitely left fans wondering what could be. Even though the Ducks were able to pull away and win 77-58, the Ducks struggles showed early and often, as the plethora of new players seemed to have a hard time gelling on the hard court. There was still some promise shown by the end of the night, as 5-star freshman Bol Bol and 4-star freshman Francis Okoro finished the night with solid performances. Bol almost had a double-double in his first game as a Duck, posting 19 points and 8 rebounds, while Okoro got the double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Now the Ducks (15-7, 8-4 Pac-12) will look to avoid being on the other end of revenge matches, as no. 15 USC and no. 22 UCLA head into Matthew Knight on Friday, Nov. 2 and Sunday, Nov. 4.
