STORY: No. 19 Oregon Touts Stronger Resolve Heading to Arizona

Since the beginning of the 2016 season, Oregon football is just 6-7 in games following losses. In 2018, No. 19 Oregon has already showed once its ability to respond to a particularly heartbreaking loss after defeating then No. 24 Cal on the road after its overtime collapse to Stanford the week prior. But now as the Ducks (5-2, 2-2 in Pac-12) have seen their brief time as the conference's headliner come to end thanks to the 34-20 loss dealt by No. 14 Washington State last week, the team again must put a difficult loss behind them. Head coach Mario Cristobal and his staff have relied on the veteran voices in the locker room along with their own diligence in the film room to build this newfound resolve, which they will badly need heading to Arizona with staying afloat in the Pac-12 on the line. Listen below to the full story as the Ducks seek to once again come back strong from a difficult loss. No. 19 Oregon Bouncing Back Quicker in 2018 (by Alex Castle)… Read More

WSOC | Oregon Loses 2-1 Heartbreaker to Arizona State

Oregon Soccer fell to the Arizona State Sun Devils 2-1 in overtime after a last second goal by Marleen Schimmer. The Ducks came into this one hoping to snap their seven game losing streak. The match showed promise for Oregon, as Emma Eddy found the back of the net on a cross in the third minute. Oregon went on to dominate that half with lots of chances despite just the 1-0 lead. The Ducks had a 7-0 advantage on corner kicks in that half. Arizona State came back tough in a very back-and-forth second half. After hitting the post in the 56th minute, Marleen Schimmer scored the opening goal for the Sun Devils to tie the game 1-1. This came right after Bayley Bruner had a wide open chance that got blocked by a Sun Devil defender and ruined the chance to go up 2-0. In the 85th minute, Hannah Taylor played hero for the Ducks as she came flying in to save a potential wide open ASU goal, keeping the game at 1-1 and sending it to overtime. 20 minutes of overtime brought nothing but thrills as… Read More

AUDIO: No. 19 Oregon Football Gears Up for Arizona Heat

No. 19 Oregon is coming off their second season-altering performance in a row, having lost to then-no. 25 Washington State after toppling Washington. Though the defeat drops Oregon down seven places in the AP Poll, and likely out of the Pac-12 North title race, the Ducks must move on to Arizona, their opponent on Saturday, Oct 27. Head coach Mario Cristobal explained one way Oregon is doing that: preparing for the Tucson heat. Meanwhile, select defensive personnel gave their thoughts on the Wazzou loss and what must be done to fully recover in time for the Wildcats. Head Coach Mario Cristobal Read More
