No. 2 seeded Oregon women's basketball cruised into the second round of the 2019 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament, throttling No. 15 Portland State 78-40 in Eugene on Friday night. The Ducks overpowered the Vikings, dominating the paint with 38 points to just 8 for PSU, and holding a +27 margin on the boards. Leading the way for the hosts were Ruthy Hebard (22 points, 11 rebounds) and Satou Sabally (21 points, 16 rebounds), who each recorded double-doubles in the win. The victory sends Oregon to the second round at Matthew Knight Arena, where it'll host No. 10 seeded Indiana on Sunday night.
