Back and forth action was on display at PK Park Sunday afternoon as the Oregon Ducks finished the three game sweep of LMU with a 7-6 win. Ryne Nelson started the game for the Ducks and provided strong play as he finished with 6.0 IP, 6 H, 4 ER, 3 BB and 8 strikeouts.
Gabe Matthews got his second home run of the season in the first inning with a 2 run bomb to right center. This sparked a run where Oregon lead 5-2 in the fourth inning.
LMU would close the gap and take the lead 6-5 in the 7th inning. Oregon would respond with Spencer Steer's game tying RBI single. Then Jonny DeLuca scored off a balk which gave Oregon the the go ahead run at 7-6.
Keaton Chase was the winning pitcher with his play in the 7th inning and Nico Tellache recorded the save. Tellache only have up 1 hit in the final two innings and notched 2 strikeouts as well.
Oregon travels up north to take on the University of Portland for a one game series on March 5th at 5:00pm…

The Oregon Ducks toppled the Arizona Wildcats 73-47 in front of a packed Matthew Knight Arena on Senior Night. The Ducks completed the sweep over the Arizona schools improving to 17-12 and 8-8 in conference, while relegating the Wildcats to 17-13 and 8-9 in conference.
The Ducks were poor coming out the gate on both ends, not converting until the 16th minute of the contest. In that time they allowed the Wildcats to convert three open threes. After the poor start, the Ducks dominated the rest of the period, going on a 16-1 run from the 12th to 6th minute. Arizona leads the conference in fewest turnovers at 11.3 a game. Nevertheless, Oregon was able to attack their strength as they forced 11 Wildcat turnovers in the first 20 minutes. To end the half, Arizona went on a 9-0 run of their own as they made it 31-31 at half. Louis King was the Ducks leading contributor in points with 10 while Dylan Smith led the way for the Wildcats with 14, going 3-4 from behind the line.…

Cole Stringer took the mound for the Ducks Saturday afternoon at PK Park and was dominate throughout his start. The Redshirt- Junior induced ground ball after ground ball, and led the Ducks to a 6-0 Victory over Loyola Marymount.
Stringer went 6.1innings for the Ducks, his longest outing since 2017 after he redshirted last season due to injury. Loyola’s hitters couldn’t get the ball off the ground, and Stringer was able to force 13 groundouts from their hitters.
It wasn’t just Stringer who played well for the Ducks. Spencer Steer hit two Home Runs over the wall in left field in the 1st and 7th innings. The first was a solo blast that barely got over the fence, while the second was a two run shot that left the yard quickly. His 3 RBI’s on the day helped propel the Ducks to a 6-0 Victory over LMU and increase the teams win streak to 5 games.

An all around performance by Oregon Men’s Basketball lead to a 79-51 victory for the Ducks Thursday night.
Scoring was hard to come by for both the Ducks and Sun Devils in the first half. Over the first 10 minutes of the game Oregon shot 27% from the field and ASU shot 25%. Through those minutes Oregon only led the Sun Devils 16-10. However, Oregon got hot at the end of the first half, and shot just under 45% during the entirety of the first half to take a 34-26 lead. Louis King lead all scorers in the first half with 11 points, while Pritchard had 7 points.
In the second half the Ducks came out firing on all cylinders. Oregon scored the first 10 points in the half, and held ASU scoreless over the first 5:54 of the half. The Ducks jumped out to a 46-27 lead and never looked back, keeping the Pac-12’s leading offense, ASU, in check for the entire game.
