SB | Errors Plague Oregon in Loss to Stanford

Oregon came into Sunday's match against Stanford looking for their first Pac-12 series win this season. After plating two runs in the first innings and three in the third, the Ducks let the Cardinal back into the game by-way of three errors in the fifth and two wild pitches in the sixth that resulted in the final five runs of the game for Stanford. The Cardinal won game three of the series 7-6 and edged out the Ducks with two total wins in the weekend-series. Oregon's field has been stellar this season, but those late errors gave Stanford un-waning momentum, which attributed to the late come-from-behind victory.

WBB | Oregon Wins Rematch, Clinches Spot in Program's First Final Four

No. 2 seeded Oregon women's basketball has exorcised its Elite 8 demons, knocking off No. 1 seed Mississippi State 88-84 on Sunday afternoon in Portland and clinching its first ever trip to the Final Four. After falling just short the past two seasons, the Ducks were led by the Regional's Most Outstanding Player, Sabrina Ionescu, who set a program NCAA Tournament record with 31 points to go along with 8 assists and 7 rebounds. Combining with Ionescu was a stellar performance from Satou Sabally (22 points, 7 rebounds), and a strong second half from Ruthy Hebard, who finished with 14 points and 5 boards. In total, Oregon shot 54% from the field and after going just 4-20 from beyond the arc in Friday night's Sweet Sixteen win, the Ducks connected on 13 of 26 on Sunday. The win marks the second of the season against the Bulldogs, and sets Oregon up for a Final Four meeting with either No. 1 Baylor or No. 2 Iowa next weekend in Tampa, Fla. SB | Oregon Downs Stanford for First Pac-12 Win

After seven consecutive conference losses, Oregon exploded for 14 hits and seven runs to stifle Stanford and win 7-2. The Ducks saw Maddie MacGrandle display un-waning poise in the circle, holding the two thru six Cardinal-batters hitless and only allowing four hits and two run in five-and-two-thirds innings of work. Shaye Bowden launched a grand slam in the first inning, allowing the Ducks an early lead that proved to be insurmountable for Stanford through the proceeding seven innings. The Cardinal found offensive production from lead-off hitter Teaghan Cowles, who reached base four times, three by way of a hit and also walking once. The Oregon-win ends Stanford's 3-0 conference start and sets the stage for a rubber match in the final game of the series on Sunday.
