In advance of their eight-game fall schedule, the Oregon softball team met with the media on Thursday afternoon. After missing the postseason for the first time since 2009 a season ago, Oregon has revamped their roster through a strong recruiting cycle and productive offseason on the transfer market. The California Golden Bears will play the Oregon Ducks in Autzen Stadium on Saturday without their starting Quarterback Chase Garbers. Garbers went down for the Bears just as he was starting to hit his grove, as he had thrown five touchdowns the previous two weeks.If Oregon is to continue their dominant play on the defensive side, they will need to stop one of the best backfields they will face all season.
