The Golden Bears set the intensity early with an 11-1 run in the middle of the first set to propel them to a dominant set one victory. In set two, the Bears strung off 5 straight points to go up 11-6 and never looked back, going up 2-0. The last set was more competitive but Cal kept its position in the drivers seat throughout, finishing the Ducks in three sets. Oregon was held to a .135 hitting percentage for the match. Willow Johnson was the only attacker with double-digit kills (10 kills, .400, 12 digs). Brooke Nuneviller was limited to 7 kills and .190, but led the way defensively with 13 digs.
