#19 Oregon Comes Out on Top in Battle Versus Arizona State

Written and Audio Stories by Austin Ota

The #19 Oregon Women’s Basketball team had been on fire of late, and they continued that trend as they took on Arizona State in a game that had been rescheduled due to COVID issues. Oregon, coming off of six straight wins, came into the day game looking to stay hot, while Arizona State attempted to halt the momentum and pull off an upset. Sabally ended the…

MBB: Oregon Bounces Back Against Rival Oregon State

Written Story by Justin Grossweiner

After having their 6 game winning streak snapped by the Colorado Buffaloes on Tuesday, the Oregon Ducks men's basketball team defeated the Oregon State Beavers 78-56 on Saturday night at Matthew Knight Arena. It was the first time the Ducks have swept the season series in 5 years, as Oregon dominated this game on both ends of the floor shooting 55% for the game, and holding the Beavers to 30% shooting.

Guard Jacob Young led Oregon scorers with 17 points on an efficient 6-10 shooting, and his backcourt running mate Will Richardson added 15 points in just 25 minutes. It was an incredibly efficient night for the Ducks,

However, potentially the most impactful player on both ends of the court was N'Faly Dante. He only had 9 points, but added 10 rebounds (including 5 offensive), 3 blocks, and 2 steals. Backup big Frank Kepnang also added value…
