The No. 25 Oregon Ducks (2-1) pulled off the 40-21 upset over the No. 12 BYU Cougars (2-1) in front of a roaring Autzen Stadium.

The Cougar faithful traveled well, with large patches of Autzen covered by blue shirts. But the Ducks worked quickly to show who’s house it really was. BYU was driving on the first possession of the game, but a head-scratching decision to go for it on 4th down and long led to a turnover on downs.

With the defensive momentum behind them, the Ducks started to roll and wouldn’t look back. Oregon quarterback Bo Nix ran the offense to perfection from the first snap. By the end of the first half, Nix had rushed into the end zone twice and threw for one more to give Oregon a dominant 24-7 halftime lead.
