Oregon Women's Lacrosse Looks To Bounce Back Against Kennesaw State
By Liam Baker
Eugene, Ore — The Oregon Ducks (1-1) will look to respond after a narrow 12-10 defeat to Niagara University last weekend as they host the Kennesaw State Owls (1-2) at Papé Field this Sunday at 12 p.m. The Ducks opened the season strong with a dominant 17-6 victory over Xavier in which Morgan McCarthy, Haley Cummins and Riley Taylor all recorded hat tricks. Last time out, the Ducks struggled to find consistency on the offensive end against Niagara tallying just seven goals in the first 58 minutes before McCarthy added three in the last two minutes. The Ducks will look to get back on track against the Owls before hitting the road for a two-game east coast road trip.
The Oregon Ducks
The Ducks are led by Junior midfielder Morgan McCarthy, who already has 8 goals in the young season. She scored five goals against Niagara and has been a vital piece to Oregon's success so far in regard to both goal-scoring and leadership. The Ducks…

PREVIEW: Oregon Men’s Basketball Looks to Sweep Season Series Against Oregon State in Corvallis
By Dylan Farrell
Heading down the home stretch of what can largely be described as a lackluster season from Oregon men’s basketball, the Ducks (15-13, 9-8) will travel northwest to Corvallis to compete with the Oregon State Beavers (10-18, 4-13) for arguably the most important award behind a championship: bragging rights against a longtime rival.
In the teams’ first matchup this year, OSU posted second-half bid for a comeback — outscoring the Ducks 37-33 — but was ultimately unable to overcome a 13-point first half deficit as Oregon left with a comfortable 77-68 win at Matthew Knight Arena. Oregon dominated the Beavers in the paint, especially defensively, posting 17 offensive rebounds and 22 defensive to OSU’s 4-17 mark. The scoring breakdown was similar to most of Oregon’s season, with both teams scoring at a reasonably efficient clip from two, but the Ducks once again failed to convert on the vast majority of their threes, going 6-22 against OSU’s 7-14.…

EUGENE, OR — Oregon Women's Basketball (15-13, 6-11 PAC-12) takes on the Arizona State Sun Devils (8-18, 1-16) at noon Sunday for their final game of the season.
It hasn't been an easy season for the Ducks, as injuries and lack of depth have held the talented group back from reaching their potential. Heartbreaking one-score losses in January to Oregon State and Washington seemed to drain any momentum they had. Before you could blink, they had dropped seven in a row, and an injury to Grace VanSlooten put a strain on an already small roster.
But they finally righted the ship Thursday night, coming together in VanSlooten's absence to pull off a convincing 14-point win over nationally ranked Arizona. While it's been Kelly Graves's least successful season since his first as a Duck, he has a chance to end it on a good note by sweeping the Arizona schools and giving seniors Taylor Hosendove, Endyia Rogers, Taya Hanson and…

by Saul Galvan
Oregon baseball had the ideal start to the season in its opening series. After starting last year with a 1-3 record, the Ducks were able to complete the opening series sweep over Xavier. Now the Ducks look to pick back where they left off, as the Gauchos of UC Santa Barbara come to PK Park for a three game series. The series was originally scheduled to be played in Santa Barbara, but after multiple reports of significant rainfall in Southern California, a decision was made to move the games to PK park and cut from four games to three.
Oregon:The series over Xavier was one for books and a good sign for the 2023 season. The Ducks’ offense put up twenty runs, while the pitching kept Xavier in check, only allowing eight. Catcher Josiah Cromwick and newly welcomed Japanese infielder, Rikku Nishida, lead the offense combining for eleven RBI’s. Cromwick leads the team in homeruns after hitting three over the weekend,…

Eugene, OR-- The Ducks are coming off a great Campbell/Cartier classic where they took all five games in three days. Now Oregon will face some of its biggest tests this weekend where it will play three ranked opponents and Cal State Fullerton who was receiving votes in the last USA poll. On Friday, Oregon kicks off the Mary Nutter classic with Fullerton, which will be immediately followed by Northwestern on the back end of the doubleheader.
Oregon Offense:
Oregon is led by super seniors Allee Bunker and Terra McGowan. Bunker hit two home runs last weekend at the Campbell/Cartier classic while McGowan went 10-18 after starting the season off just 1-13. Two players that have been overlooked though are Alyssa Daniell and Tehya Bird. Daniell leads the team with a .400 batting average which has been a huge help out of the cleanup spot and the team missing Hannna Delgado last weekend. Bird leads the team in…
