VB: Young guns shine in Civil War, Ducks defeat Beavers in straight sets
The Oregon Ducks opened Pac-12 against their in-state rivals, Oregon State, at Matthew Knight Arena. Oregon State's Mary-Kate Marshall led both teams with 20 kills; however, it was not enough to stave off the potent attacking from the Ducks. Both Jolie Rasmussen and Ronika Stone led the Ducks with 11 kills each. The Ducks continue Pac-12 play against the California Golden Bears on Friday, in which Oregon hopes to keep its eight-match winning streak intact.
