UC Davis got out to an early 7-0 lead versus Oregon and held it until the Ducks scored their first points of the 2016 season late in the first quarter, which was part of a 33-0 run that spanned the first three quarters. The Oregon Ducks defeated the San Diego State Aztecs 3-0, on Friday evening. Oregon dominated the whole way, including a 13-0 run at one point in the first set. Brooke Van Sickle lead the charge for Oregon, coming away with 8 kills and 4 blocks. Freshmen Ronika Stone also had a big night, finishing with 6 blocks. Oregon will play UC Davis on Saturday at 6pm, at Matthew Knight Arena. -Cameron Derby
