The Ducks baseball team clinched their series against the visiting USC Trojans with a 12-8 victory. The Ducks used a season-best 7 runs in the bottom of the second to take control of the game and they never looked back, tallying 13 hits and 9 walks in the process. The Oregon Ducks baseball team came into Friday's matchup against USC with a 2-game win streak and leading Portland after their game was halted in the 9th. The momentum seemed to carry over as the Ducks got their third W in a row ousting the visiting Trojans 4-3. Matt Krook got the nod to start on the mound Friday instead of his normal Saturday role, but the move paid off for George Horton as the Krook recorded the win in his 6 innings.
