Junior forward Dillon Brooks lead the Ducks with 23 points and 9 rebounds in Oregon's 89-87 victory over the #2 UCLA Bruins, on Tuesday night at Matthew Knight Arena. However, it was the final shot he hit that mattered most. Oregon was down by 1 when Brooks connected on a 3-point shot with just .8 seconds left in the game. Following the Brooks triple, UCLA's Freshmen guard missed the half-court bomb, which sealed the upset victory for Oregon. Oregon finished shooting 48.1% from the field, and 20% from downtown. Oregon found itself in foul trouble for most of the game, with early fouls taking junior forwards Dillon Brooks and Jordan Bell out early. Oregon managed to rally away from Fresno State late with two big slams from Bell, who finished the game with 23 points on 8-11 shooting. Oregon and Fresno State both snatched up 31 rebounds, matching one another in physicality most of the game.
