The 77 points marked an Autzen Stadium record, breaking the previous total of 72. Oregon racked up the scores through its dynamic rushing attack, breaking another Autzen record with nine touchdowns on the ground. Sophomore starting quarterback Justin Herbert found success as well, completing 17 of 21 attempts for 281 yards and a touchdown pass to tight end Jacob Breeland.
