AUDIO: Oregon Softball Introduces Head Coach Melyssa Lombardi

Oregon softball introduced its new head coach Melyssa Lombardi on Monday afternoon at Jane Sanders Stadium. Joined by athletic director Rob Mullens, Lombardi used her introductory press conference to unveil her vision and focus for the softball program moving forward after the surprising departure of Mike White last month. Lombardi, who joins the Ducks after 21 years as an assistant coach (most recently as the associate head coach) at Oklahoma, brings a championship pedigree with her. During her time with the Sooners, Lombardi helped lead the program to four national championships, including back-to-back titles in 2016 and 2017. Listen below to the full press conference, plus individual interviews with Lombardi and Oregon's Megan Kleist and Shannon Rhodes. Introductory Press ConferenceRead More
