Oregon’s first conference road test started out on a sour note, losing to unranked Arizona State 72-66 in big part to a Sun Devil offensive explosion in the fourth. The Ducks retooled well taking down #18 Arizona 71-64 to split the weekend. The Ducks fall out of the top five for the first time this season finding themselves at sixth in the most recent poll. Oregon will have plenty of opportunities upcoming to prove their worth, taking on #3 Stanford tomorrow knight at Matthew Knight Arena. Oregon closes out the weekend with Cal Sunday afternoon before the highly anticipated home and home with fellow top-10 team Oregon State. After posting a 22-30 record in Melyssa Lombardi's first season as head coach, the Ducks are looking to return to the postseason behind a deeper pitching staff and more experienced lineup. Head Coach Melyssa Lombardi, Jordan Dail and Haley Cruse met with the media on Tuesday afternoon to discuss the upcoming season.

Oregon moves up one spot in the rankings after a thrilling overtime win versus #24 Arizona and following up with a win via a Payton Pritchard masterclass against Arizona State. The Ducks remain undefeated in Eugene but have lots to prove in conference road games after poor outing in Utah and Colorado last month. Before the team heads to Pullman, head coach Dana Altman and shooting guard Chris Duarte addressed the media on Tuesday.
