AUDIO: Oregon Adjusting to Hoke's Defense
The Oregon Ducks held their third practice of the spring -- the first with pads -- on Friday morning. The biggest storylines surrounding spring practices are quarterback Dakota Prukop (the Montana State transfer) and the implementation of new defensive coordinator Brady Hoke's 4-3 scheme. Oregon has lost seven out of its last 10 games, after starting the season winning eight of the first ten. The Ducks look to get back on track this weekend with a four game road trip in the midwest. UO will face Notre Dame Thursday at 3:05 p.m., and then Michigan State Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 12:05 p.m., 10:05 a.m., and 9:05 a.m. respectively. Buddy Hield buries Oregon's Final 4 hopes, leads Oklahoma to 80-68 Elite 8 win over the Ducks
The Oregon Ducks crawled into a hole, down 48-30 to the Oklahoma Sooners at intermission, that they couldn't crawl out of Saturday in the Honda Center in Anaheim. Oklahoma controlled the game from start to finish and propelled themselves into the Final 4 with a 80-68 victory over the Ducks. Oregon ends the season with their first Elite 8 appearance since 2007 and the most wins in a season in school history with 31 and seven losses. Listen below to postgame audio from both schools:
