SB: Oregon Sweeps the Day Behind Arms

Oregon softball picked up two more wins on Saturday beating Sacramento State 4-1 and Pacific 11-0. In game one, Oregon got a complete game from freshman Megan Kleist who only allowed one run. In game two, Geri Ann Glasco flashed her arm and her bat as she threw a complete game shutout of her own with five strikeouts, only giving up two hits. From the plate, she went 3-4 with a home run and three RBIs. The win against Pacific also marked the 300th career win for Mike White in his seventh year as the head coach for the Ducks. Oregon softball took game one of the Louisville Slugger Invitational 15-0 against Pacific behind a sparkling performance for Cheridan Hawkins. She struck out 13 (out of 15 outs) while walking two and hitting two. Oregon scored five runs in the first, two in the second and eight in the third.
