STORY: Royce Freeman Readies for Final Act at Autzen

With a career that started with a National Championship berth and Marcus Mariota and that will end with him as the program's all-time leading scorer, Royce Freeman has cemented himself as an Oregon Football legend. The senior running back's 2017 season has gone much like the rest of his career, banged up from his deservedly heavy workload, Freeman has refused to slow down. As much is evident with his four touchdown performance against Arizona in Week 12, though that came after a touchdown drought without starting quarterback Justin Herbert in the lineup. Freeman hopes to continue the trend this week in a Civil War showdown with rivaled Oregon State in what will be his final act at Autzen Stadium. VB: Oregon loses tough match in four sets against USC

The no. 24 ranked Oregon Ducks played their hearts out for a crowd full of friends and family celebrating Senior Day but lost to no. 13 Southern California in four sets. Led by senior standout Taylor Agost, the Ducks started slow and fell behind by two sets before rallying in the third. The Trojans of Southern California continued to respond with force when Oregon gained momentum. Brittany Abercrombie and Khalia Lanier led the Trojans with a total of 30 kills that sealed the win for the team from Los Angeles. Senior Taylor Agost likely played her final match at Matthew Knight Arena for Oregon but showcased her talent with 19 kills, hitting .229 and scoring 20 points.Oregon now increases their losing streak to four games and the road to the NCAA Tournament does not get easier. Oregon Women's Basketball beat the Eastern Washington Eagles 81-40 Tuesday after being on the road for seven days. Coming off their first loss of the season against Louisville, the Ducks spread minutes around, trying to give everyone rest. Ruthy Hebard carried the offense in limited minutes, scoring 22 points in 20 minutes, two away from her season high. Sabrina Ionescu did not break the Pac12 record for triple-doubles tonight, but did get eight points and ten rebounds.
