After a dominant weekend in the First and Second Rounds of the NCAA Tournament, the Ducks are set for a Sweet 16 matchup with a team that looks awfully familiar. No. 11 Seed Central Michigan, a team that scraps and shoots threes, is the next roadblock on Oregon's 2018 path to the Final Four. The Ducks picked up where they left off in the First Round, jumping out to a 51-36 halftime lead thanks to a monstrous half from Sabrina Ionescu. Coming off her tenth career triple-double on Friday night, the sophomore had a hand in 24 of Oregon's 30 first-quarter points and would finish the half with 22 points of her own. It was far from a solo performance, however; as the Ducks' got 12 more points from Ruthy Hebard and shot an impressive 66%, or two-thirds, of their field goal attempts in the opening half. The Golden Gophers seemed to always have an answer to hold the Ducks from completely running away with the game, shooting 47% from beyond the arc, including four three-pointers and 14 points from Destiny Pitts. The Ducks continued their dominant play in the second half, shooting 57.1%  from the field and outscoring the Golden Gophers 50-37 on their way to a 101-73 victory. Oregon and UCLA squared off in round 3 on Sunday after splitting each of the first two games. It was a game that featured each team's best pitcher: UCLA's Rachel Garcia and Oregon's Megan Kleist. Rachel Garcia came into this matchup with a 10-0 record and Megan Kleist has two no hitters on the season. Both pitchers lived up to the hype in this one as neither team could score until the very end. It took Oregon four innings to tally their first hit of the game. UCLA had chances to score in several innings, but Oregon's defense was superb throughout. In the sixth inning, the bats started to wake up for both teams. UCLA hit two straight singles to get runners on first and second base with no outs. Then, Aaliyah Jordan tried a sacrifice bunt that Oregon was able to shut down at first base. On the same play, UCLA's Briana Perez tried going home and Oregon's Mia Camuso threw her out to earn a double play and avoid the run.
