STORY: Oregon Football's Offensive Line Depth Put to the Test Following Injury
No. 12 Oregon football’s ability to grind out a tough and physical victory over Washington a week ago took a toll on the Ducks, as freshmen phenom left tackle Penei Sewell will miss the next six weeks following an ankle injury sustained in the win. Sewell, who had graded out as the No. 2 tackle in the Pac-12 and No. 6 in the country by Pro Football Focus, will be replaced in the starting lineup by redshirt junior Brady Aiello at right tackle while Calvin Throckmorton will flip to the left side. The injury comes ahead of the Ducks matchup with No. 25 Washington State on Saturday, which boasts in the no. 1 pass rush in the Pac-12 so far this season. As Oregon prepares for its next challenge, they'll need to put their faith in the depth Aiello and fellow backup Jacob Capra provides. Listen below to the full story.
