EUGENE, OR — Finishing their fourth non-conference game of the season, #18 Oregon Women's Basketball (4-0) downed the Southern Utah Thunderbirds (2-3) 66-55 Monday night at Matthew Knight Arena. With the win, the Ducks have won 51 of their last 52 non-conference games at home and Oregon improves to 42-8 all-time in the month of November under Kelly Graves.
Oregon came into the game riding a 3-game win streak that featured three blowout victories but Southern Utah gave the Ducks their closest match to date with the 11-point victory. After Oregon led 24-15 at the end of the first, Southern Utah played the Ducks competitively in the second as Oregon struggled from the field shooting 33.3% to the Thunderbirds' 41.7% shooting resulting in a 10-point lead at the half for the Ducks at 35-25. It seemed like the Ducks had some extra motivation after the halftime break as Oregon shot 8-16 from the field…

Sure Sunday Night Football has been a staple for multiple decades now, but what about some Sunday night men’s college hoops? That’s what Eugene got on this Sunday night as the Oregon Ducks played host to the No. 3 team in the nation and national championship favorites, the Houston Cougars. With the Ducks still trying to find their identity in this young season, they certainly had their work cut out for them against a team that is averaging just over 80 points per game. As it turns out, Oregon fought hard on defense all game long, keeping the Cougars to a modest 66 points. Even so, that was enough for Houston to come into Matthew Knight Arena and capture their fifth victory of the season by the final of 66-56, remaining undefeated.
Oregon was lucky to even be within ten points in this contest, as they shot an abysmal 13% from three, and turned the ball over 16 times. The Cougars took advantage of the Ducks’ poor ball handling as they…

The Story
The number three ranked University of Houston Cougars (4-0) come into Matthew Knight Arena Sunday night in a game for men’s basketball that will feature the highest-ranked team the unranked Oregon Ducks (2-1) have hosted since last year’s 78-70 loss to the Baylor Bears on December 18th, 2021. This is the Cougars’ second time playing Oregon in the regular season in as many years, as they put up a dominant 78-49 win against the Ducks last year at the Maui Jim Maui Invitational on Nov. 24th of 2021. The Cougars have been March Madness staples the previous few seasons, reaching the Elite Eight in 2022 before eventually falling to Villanova. Oregon currently sits at number eight in the Pac-12 before conference play has started.
Oregon is coming off a 30-point win against Montana State University as they were able to take care of business against the Bobcats 81-51. The Houston Cougars are…

Facing a USC team(20-9, 12-6 Pac-12) that they had struggled against earlier in the season, the Oregon Ducks volleyball team(20-5, 14-3 Pac-12) started Sunday's match looking to extend a winning streak of 10. Through the first two sets, it was neck and neck, but USC was able to scrape away both, 25-21 and 25-23. Once the 3rd set rolled around, it was a brand new match for the Ducks, going on to win the final three sets 25-20, 25-20, and 15-12.
In a heavily offensive oriented match for both sides, it was the Ducks stars of Mimi Colyer and Brooke Nuneviller leading the way. The freshman Colyer set a career high in kills with 29, and was just about all around dominant, hitting .463 for the match to go with 4 service aces, 4 digs, and 4 blocks. Nuneviller was also fantastic, putting up 19 kills to the tune of a .421 hitting percentage, along with 7 digs and a couple service aces.

EUGENE, OR – No. 12 Oregon Football (9-2, 7-1 Pac-12) entered their Week 13 matchup against No. 10 Utah (8-3, 6-2 Pac-12) but were able to turn the tide after losing at home to the University of Washington the week prior. After seeing their playoff hopes slip through their fingers, the Ducks defense was key to shutting down Utah’s attack. Oregon was able to impress the home crowd and take this matchup, 20-17.
The story of the first half was the return of Heisman-hopeful Bo Nix. Prior to the game, the availability of Nix for Oregon was relatively unknown, but when No. 10 came out on the field under center for the Ducks, Autzen erupted. Due to a leg injury, the dual-threat Nix was relegated to only the ability of his arm, but he threw an efficient 25-37 with a touchdown and a late interception. At the onset of the second quarter, Nix found young receiver Donte Thornton, Jr. on a…
